My first real painted piece ever using my new photoshop! I am very proud on how he came out, and look forwards to doing more art like this one.

Oh that's normal dawg. You should see some of my work in which I spent between 7 or 12 hours sometimes from sketch to finish. Most are done on the iPad, some on the Nintendo 3ds and recently photoshop. So don't let time get the best of you. Time is important but not at this stage. This is because you wanted to not only make sure the full render that you wanted to output to look right but the composition that you wanted to execute does too.
With practice you will soon see that in art there is something called Speed Paint Render and Full Paint Render. Don't miss speed paint with speedpaint videos as well as sketches too. They're both completely different.
Again great job on this!

Oh I've seen some amazing speed paints before XD (haven't tried one myself) But I do plan on doing more things in this painted style, I really like it! Also your gallery is pretty awesome! Cool electronic media choices as well! Thanks again for the kind words and motivation!!!
=D *dances*

HAHAHA!! No problem! And thank you! :> Oh and BTW keep this in mind. Never take a critique from someone that does not have anything to show in their own gallery and that they claim that he/she knows what they are talking about. Because anyone can be a critique. So always take things with a grain of salt. And also, don't be afraid in copying poses or art style that your found off. Because inspiration comes from being exposed to something you like and take that mixing it on how you feel it would be but in your own style and that's how you progress. Lastly, learn gesture drawing. It is probably one of my biggest faults that I never paid much focus on it. Because with gesture, whatever pose you make will not look rigged/stiff. I'm pretty sure you've seen a lot of those around here. lol! XD
Hehe yea I should look into that. I do try and make my figures look as natural as I can. Like one of my pics where y mate and I are dancing, that one came out well enough *points to my commissions tab* it's on that list if you wana see. And yea I would be choosy about who gave me critique, but I still value most everyone's opinion. ^^
