Since the early 1960s (when I was still growing up in the Bronx), I had a penchant to solve puzzles - ranging from simple mazes in children's activity books to the TV Guide crosswords (helping Mom out).
In the 1970s, my interest turned to word searches and anagram quizzes - to the point that I began to make ones of my own. In 1982, I'd joined the National Puzzlers League (a non-profit organization), where I got to create a variety fo word puzzles for its members to solve (and where I'd received equally unique puzzles from them in return).
That being said, here's a two-panel gag - with Rob Cat and Donovan Lupus - spoofing current syndicated comic strips with games and puzzles in them. (A similar visual joke from "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" - over 35 years ago - was the inspiration for my own interpretation of this puzzling parody.)
