Good start. Hints of being within the wolf-flavored culture.
Lots of mixing layers for the reader to view through. Human instincts conditioned by uplifted-wolf culture. Seeing a USA human society from a different cultural background. Also the reader has to interpret this alternate (future?) world's human culture, from the view of our own culture.

I'd like to see it. I'm sympathetic to slices-of-lives and chapters out of context. (With some fair warning to a reader.) It fits a "scrap-book" conception for the webpage. (Fragments? Look at the Chapter from"Scouting Party" at the bottom of the Spontoon Island 'Story' page.)
