Title says it all...this fugly thing ain't gonna win any beauty awards, that's for sure, but at least it'll be hard to spot in the woods, and since it's a geocache, that's the whole point. XD (I had run out of the "forest camo "duct tape--the one I used on the duck--so had to use the "desert camo" tape, and it was too light-colored, so I added trees and foliage to it with permanent markers.) It started out as this thing, btw: http://www.fisher-price.com/img/pro.....cycler-d-2.jpg and I chose a car because this one will be put by a gas/charging combo station. :)

We're "TheFurbergs" on there :D I've been caching with family/friends for 7+ years, but I just finally got my boyfriend into it so we just started a new account a few weeks ago, hence the low find numbers xD But please go ahead and add! (Assuming I have it set up that you can add me, if I don't let me know and I'll fix it. I haven't really fleshed out my profile yet)
Well, that is possible, but you'll still need an account on Geocaching.com, so that you can make a page for your cache, and folks can log it. There isn't a requirement (that I know of) to have already found caches yourself in order to put out a cache, but generally folks who do put them out have already found several, so that they know what the sport is all about, what belongs in a cache and what doesn't, how to deal with travel bugs and tradeables, how to maintain the cache and the logbook, how to edit the page for the cache as needed, how to pass the cache to a new owner if you can no longer maintain it, etc. It's not difficult stuff, but it takes a bit of dedication, and total newbies to geocaching may just as soon lose interest in it after a month, and any caches they've put out would just be left abandoned (which sadly happens all the time, and it ends-up ruining the sport for others). So if you really want to put out a cache, please be willing to keep it going indefinitely, or pass it on later to someone else who will...or just make a cool container and let another cacher put it out for you in that location, and they can create a page for it and maintain it (if they are local to the area, since you have to be able to physically check on it from time to time). :)
