I get the strangest inverse-ren-and-stimpy vibe out of them, I just realized. The big fat guy is the opposite of idiotically happy and the short weasely one is the opposite of bitterly mean.

Ahhh that's interesting! Actually when I was first pinning down character types the first point with Charles was to make him the opposite of the whole "big and dumb" cliche (but now I'm imagining him brimming with brittle pent-up anger and it feels so wrong)

As a 6'3" 225-lb anxiety queen, I'm just glad to see representation ^^" Glad you thought it out like that! And the anger does feel sorta wrong... maybe he's only an angry drunk. That could compartmentalize it, you think?

Maybe! If I'm honest I don't think he has it in him to get really angry! Maybe kinda irritable and grumpy at most (also there's totally a bit in the comic where he gets drunk and he's basically a grandpa -"wow this sure is an experience i am having" and immedietely falls asleep)

And OH GOD don't worry, I'm too much of a weenie to draw them (or even most characters) being deliberately malicious to each other.

(Also I forgot to mention but as a short-arse squishy person I also crave more body types in these sort of things that aren't skinnylean so I'm super happy I've been able to that with him, gosh!!!! thank you )
