I like to take a few "easier" things to do amidst all the complex fullsuit orders and new species I have never made... that being said this "easier" head took twice as long as the monkey lol.
Not shown are how his eyes have blue LEDs (derped and forgot to take a few pics with the eyes on)
These eyes are not hand painted but rather paper printouts attached with E6000, it is a method I quit using long ago, not due to any fault with the method as the eyes made in such a way have proven trouble free over the years, but rather I quit the method in favor of the visual appeal of individually painted. In this case the customer wanted the eyes to be "flooded" when lit (used "the Avatar state" as reference) and thus I used the paper method so I could backlight the entire eye to glow blue.

I like how the eyes turned out. I was thinking of changing the color of the mesh on Tycho from black to something else, partly because I sometimes get people who are weirded out by the eyes. I sometimes wonder if it's because there's no 'white' to surround my eyes. That beige mesh looks awesome
