I figured out how to make custom brushes in Manga Studio, using photoshop ABR files.

Basically, I took various "cloud" brushes from DeviantArt, and mashed them together into ONE brush. And... this is what we get.

Nice clouds. The rest is kind of blah

Yeah, sky is done really well. The ground is a bit eh, but it still turned out pretty good.

Yeah, I dunno how to make my ground better in landscapes. :(

I guess it's because I'm from the flattest place on earth, with the most colorful skies on earth.

That's why they call Saskatchewan the "Land of the Living Skies."

Maybe looking at images of different kinds of earth formations will give you a better idea. It always helps to draw what you see rather than what you know. At least when starting off with something new.

And that sounds like a beautiful place to live in :D

Nice cloud brush.

All you need to do is work on the background longer if you want good results. More detail is called for.

Dude, those clouds are freaking sweet, I absolutely love the gradients and colours you used.

I also like the way you did the lighting, colouring and shapes on the ground area, too bad you kind of left it there, but I can see this was more of a test than anything else
