Eh, I wasn't gonna put this up here, but since I'm not really uploading much else lately...
More character practice, and more nostalgia, after my last round ofruining playing around with the TaleSpin cast. I honestly would've considered Darkwing Duck my favorite of TDA, but it is a little silly upon re-watch. Still...Launchpad. Oh yespls, Launchpad.
And hey look, Ma...I can draw different body types!
Again, stuff like this may mostly be relegated to http://kyletak.deviantart.com/

Hurhurhur! But it was a Quirky kind of silly. X3 Come on....Darkwing duck even as a human seems like he's just ASKING for some slap stick fun to happen to him. ;-D 'Sides it had so many FUN VILLAINS!
LOL The Muddlefoots! What is it with neighbors that absentminded yet cheery that can just be so annnoying. XD MURRR! I do enjoy your interpretation of Vladimir Grizzlikof. X3 Emm...Beards...X3 As for Steelbeak, whether he's the Disney's version of "Jaws" from James Bond or not, that jaw is very...disturbing, But whatcha gonna do X.x

YAAAAY! Slapstick and pancakes for Darkwing! >=3 XD
Well, maybe as human it'd be weird to draw them. Heck, Bushroot as a human? Er...some villians are better left as anthro. ^^;
Emm....YES PLEASE for ze Bears! X3 Is it bad I'm glad you didn't give him a metallic upper jaw only cause...it's almost dehumanizing as you're humanizing the character's? ^^;

I liked Darkwing Duck (and of course I like your interpretation :) ). Yes, it was a bit silly, but then again it was a Batman / James Bond parody. So I think that was intentional.
p.s.: If you plan to do this for all Disney cartoons, consider Gargoyles. Was my absolute favourite when I was a kid ^^;

Talespin was effectively a lot of parodies (Indiana Jones/screwball comedy/etc), but they maintained more or less accurate cartoon physics. Darkwing did the squash and stretch, which was funny, but is a bit more exhausting to watch ^ ^;;
But they did an episode where they all became humans!

Now that you mention it, yes, Darkwing had a lot more 'cartoony' effects. It really has been too long since I watched those shows.
But I'm afraid that those shows won't be as good as I remember. Especially TaleSpin, where my absolutely favourite character, Don Karnage, turned from a badass villain to a more comic reliefe villain after the pilote episodes.
Well yes, but your take on them would still be interesting. I really like your style.

Yeeeeeeeeees ^.^
Too many of the villains were kinda monstrous...Bushroot was already half plant, Liquidator was just a blob, it seemed weird to, well, only half-humanize them? I suppose Megavolt and Quackerjack were the only ones I would've considered.
Dunno, we'll see if I have time!

Very, very nice.
I like that, even as humans, you can see they go through cartoon-ish mishaps, especailly DW. And I'm jumping on the bandwagon that LP and ol' Grizz is HAWT.
But I also think Herb could be hawt as well... just tape his mouth/beak shut, make sure he can't go anywhere.... (insert "Misery" like grin here)
Good job, V!
