I'm sorry for your loss. I know that it's kind of a canned statement, but that doesn't make it any less true; it sucks when people die. My first and only personal experience with death was my dog dying suddenly, and though he's been dead for years I still miss him very strongly. I can't say that I understand what you're going through, but I understand a little of it, and what I understand just really, really sucks.

I don't know if you're religious or whatever, but whether or not you are, I hope he's in a better place, and I hope that you continue to make progress with your grief. I wish there was something more I could do to help. :/

It's something I dread daily myself, and it's so close that it's always on the back of my mind. I know how that feeling is though, so yeah...I'm very sorry too.

Maybe a happier drawing would help you. Maybe think about drawing Enigma's dad hugging him. It might help you remember the good times more than the bad.
