I think that would be REALLY awkward for "little" Twilight^^

But I'm sure Mrs. Applebucket would like this "Mother-Daughter" bonding

I would like to see an alternative version of this Story where Celestia is not coming right the first day to "rescue" Twilight. I'm working on a side project where Twilight is staying a bit longer in the Big Horses Family.

I'm a smartass: Celestia came in the second day, because they went to sleep and Twilight woke up in the morning first. But that Celestia comes later was my thought too ... I had even fanatsies about Celestia, like: " Sorry Twilight that I wasn't able to bring us out here, but you can still look up to me, I'm already old enough here to wear training pants!"

You are right. Celestia came the second day.

How about this scenario:

As Celestia knocks at the door of the Farm House, she is greated by Mr. Hayfork. She asks if he have maybe seen her "little sister". A alicorn like her but with purple fur.
Mr. Hayfork looked sad by this question and asks the "teen" horse to enter. They made their way to the kitchen, where Mrs. Applebucket is giving a certain purple alicorn a bottle with warm milk for breakfast.

Celestia was first shocked to see her faithful student in a footed-sleeper with star pattern and a bulk at her rear which indicates she is wearing a diaper.

After the first shock she couldn't resist to giggle at the cute scene before her.

Twilight comes out of her thoughts as she heard the giggling and looks over to Celestia. She starts to panic and squirm and tried to get out of the hold from Mrs. Applebucket but had no chance as she cooed at her baby girl who gave up and started to suckle at her bottle again.

Celestia trotted over to Mrs. Applebucket and couldn't resist ask if she could feed her little sister while she explains what happened and why they are here.

Twilight becomes red like a tomato as Celestia hold her in one hoof and holds her bottle with the other hoof so she could still suckle the milk from it.

Celestia explains that, her little sister had a magic outbreack and accidently teleported herself to this dimension.

Version 1) The problem is now, they can't go back so easily. She could still tell her "parents" that she found her little sister and she is fine, but it needs at least one week before the portal could be opened again.

Mrs. Applebucket and Mr. Hayfork suggest they could stay here until the portal can be opened again. They wouldn't mind to take a little bit longer care for Twilight.

Version 2) After Twilight had her breakfast and Celestia burped her, she says good bye to the nice farm horses and tried to open a Portal.

But instead a parchment appears which says:
"Under Construction.

Please enjoy your little vacation with your temporary parents.

Sincerely, Discord"

Celestia and Twilight could only scream. The mother instincts from Mrs. Applebucket kicked in and she wrapped the two little horses in a motherly hug and shooed them. She didn't mind the tears that where coming from the two young ones. She had for now two daughters to take care of...

The first version sounds like more fun because it could be just a lie from celestia , but in the End both versions lead to the same result

And as a "bonus" Mrs. Applebucket (their temporary mother) insist that Celestia goes to school since she is (in their eyes) just a teenager.

In both version's Celestia has "deactivated" her mane and which is now Pink.

But it is up to you if you want to use any of this versions or no one of them and stick with the original story.
