If you're going on an adventure, it's often better if you don't have to walk.

Three paragraphs that took the entire day. Distractions all day today, but that's about all I wanted to say.

ya knowwwwww.... all the way in to work this plagued my mind... 'Outcast' - fishing boat - *slaps her forehead...

to cast out in a language such as Spanish would be 'out cast'.

I do wish I had manged to make it a bit longer, but I'm glad you enjoyed what I managed :)

It'd be enough plot (with a little teasing of dialogue) for a comic book..each of the three submissions, I mean. They're a short read and give you some things to think about.

Well, I've thought about doing the story up on it's own and shopping it around, see if anyone wanted to print it.

Tincrash and I are talking about doing a comic though. You may see more about that later. ;)

I'm seeing a boat theme in some of the stories from the prompt ^^ *purrs* I liked the description and the originality. the small boat, the sparse crew. the naming of the ship and used of gods. A lot in three paragraphs, more than i could pack in.

Yeah, it's a little too packed for my tastes. I blame it on writing a line or two, getting distracted, writing another bit, getting distracted...

After each distraction I had to cram more in just to catch up to where the story had gone while I was busy doing other things :p

"Distilled" would be a good word, I think. *grin* Certainly leads us along well . . . and i already have a warm spot in my heart for this Templeton. The dashing heroes are all well and good, but there is so much you can DO with the quiet ones :)

Cute. Interesting. Short. Shortness isn't bad, I think, in this case, the story is very interesting. But with such a short tale I can't really say anything else than I liked it. Good work.

I hope to be expanding this series into its own novel or novella. The current plan is to get the first draft, 50k words, done by the end of the month. I don't know how realistic that goal is at this point though :p
