For October 1st, have a (somewhat botched) painting of a deer that looks like a dog in the aspen quakies. The leaves WOULD have been more yellow, but this is what I get for painting with a dirty ink brush ^^;

Our state seems to have forgotten that Autumn exists though. Snow in the mountains to the east and the south, probably snow in the mountains right behind the house by tomorrow. Rain everywhere else, but that’s ok. My dogs are inside drying off, the fireplace is going, and its potato soup for dinner <3 I love fall.
