I absolutely agree! Though if they changed gameplay a little, the game could be fun. It just irritates me when I do nothing but click door light - door lihgt - camera at pirate cove - and door light again for the whole ingame night and then get killed almost at dawn and have to start all over again! X_X

I like a good jump scare, but that's all this game seems to be is jump scares and it gets old fast. I didn't even want to play the 6th and 7th nights cause it be more of the same.

I can't understand why they rely on jump scares so much. FNAF has creepy atmosphere and great character designs, it could be very scary without those jump scares. And if they wanted to use jump scares, they even didn't need those creepy character designs. It's enough to have a not scary badly drawn monster jump out with a scream to startle people.

Lol I feel you on that when I know how that is when I was playing on the old Nintendo 64 system werewolf the last Warrior I made it through all the levels and finally got to the bout the last one and I had to cross this waterfall but you had to jump on Falling Rocks that we're going over the falls but every time you would jump up in the air piranha would leave out of water in either bites you and kill you or knock you off the Rock in the water and then you would die I would always do find the game until I got to that point chuckles

Yes, and it was very confusing. Looks like the events of FNAF2 happened before FNAF1, but that leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

How do you figure that? Multiple references are made to the first game, including the original animatronics and security guard.

Night 5 phone call, date on the paycheck and the fact that the Phone Guy who was killed in FNAF is still alive in FNAF2 all show that FNAF2 is a prequel, not sequel. And that confuses me.

Scott Cawthon intended a true sequel...new restaurant, new animatronics, no real worries about power consumption, and a story set after the events of 5NaF...HOWEVER, the last minuet he decided to write the story as a prequel as fans wanted to know what happened before 5NaF, but due to time constraints, he was unable to remove the story bits that set it as a prequel

so there you have it...its a sequel and a prequel at the exact same time

Bits setting it as a sequel: new location, newer animatronics with updated hardware that wouldn't exist in 1987, all animatronics trying to murder your face by stuffing you into a suit, Golden Freddy, no need to worry about power consumption

Bits setting it as a prequel: Phone guy is still alive and mentions the building being clsoed down because of "someone using the suit", phone guy tells you to finish your shift as he will be taking the night watch, newspaper and check written in 1987

I wish Scott would make up his mind and made it either a sequel or a prequel, but not everything at once. It just doesn't make much sense now. And many cool fanfiction that were written before the creation of FNAF2 now don't fit into the canon story, 'cause they don't have the new animatronics in them. -_-

Indeed...I've read a good number of fanfictions lately, but due to 5NaF's 2 confusing story, it doesn't make much sense because its hard to tell whats canon

FNaF2 and FNaF4 are prequel, while FNaF3's the only sequel.

As both FNaF2/4 are set in 1987, while FNaF1 in somewhere of 1990's, and left us with FNaF3, which at least around 2020 or 2030.
