My first (belated) submission for #Inktober: duelling arctic jackalopes (based on arctic hares/svalbard reindeer). I imagine them locking antlers and then proceeding to smack the crap out of each other with their forehooves as arctic hares do with their forepaws. Not quite sure who's going to win this round though. :D

Haha, I do as well! And they're bouncing all around each other on their hind legs while boxing, with bits of fur flying everywhere! :D I guess in this case, you'd hear more of the clacking of hooves and antlers together, with boofs whenever they smack each other in the face. :D
What an interesting and imaginative concept. Despite all outward appearances, these supposedly cute jackalopes look like brutal fighters; I imagine the loser (and possibly even the winner as well) having some pretty grievous injuries from this. Providing they aren't too stubborn to break away early enough before it gets to that of course.
Yep, that's what I was imagining too...because as cute and fluffy as arctic hares look, they are fierce fighters! I couldn't find a good vid of them fighting, but I found one of brown hares, and it's pretty much the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1E95_38I2h4 :D
