when i was watching him in shows and seeing the games ( i cannot really comment on the comic books as i never got them ) even at about twelve shadow seems very flat, standard, angsty and pretty dull in my opinion. this angle you took on him just makes him allot more interesting in my opinion as it gives his allot of personality, and one that is not really explored by many :]
well despite the obvious that you designed him so well to look like an imperfect clone your description of him as a mixture of Rain Man and forest gump gives a believable personality to him not like the other carnations *COUGH COUGH* shadow the hedgehog game, sonic x and a few archie comic stories
