I've been following a delightful little comic called Forest Hill:

Benni here is one of my favourite characters from it (troubled youth and all that, always interesting yet heartbreaking) - he's a rough and ready otter which is what I wanted to portray initially, but he's got a difficult home life and faces a lot of confusion about where he belongs. So that's what showed through
