Huh... I wasn't even aware that Malek was a vampire. Rip is still awesome as anything though. :)

I've never muchly underlined the part of Malek being a vampire... he's not like some sophisticated count who lives in a castle - more like a jerk who hangs around in alehouses, picking fights with people smaller than himself.

See, a good SO would be happy that Rip has goals and would encourage his endeavors, maybe even take part in them. The fact that Malek committed a party foul all over those plans is just plain low.

Ripkin tries to motivate Malek into taking part in his schemes anyway. They once managed to form an alliance with a buch of werewolves and tried to conquer a couple of free cities, but things went from bad to worse when Malek got a bit distracted and sort of released their most important hostages. That pissed off the werewolves. They all started fighting against each other instead of concentrating on their real enemies. In the end Ripkin had to run back home with his tail between his legs. :p

I didn't know Ripkin was so ambitious.

There are many sides to him. I mostly draw these guys just fooling around, but Ripkin has all kinds of strange obsessions. He loves bureaucracy and politics. Malek might be able to burn and sack a few cities every now and hten, but on a good day Ripkin might be smart enough to run an empire. ;>

*giggle* That sounds slightly out of character for that big lug of a vampire lord, but Ripkin is certainly always happy to see his favorite dragon! =D

to be honest Garr would smoosh him to the floor by sits on him if he find out Malek treat Ripkin badly and Garr would hugs and cuddles Ripkin to keep him very happy. and it would be nice to see Garr make his appearance again ever since everyone loved the Ripkin/Garr thingies due to the cuddling part where Malek find them in his bedroom *chuckles*

i've always wondered how he's even able to drink beer... well, without having a terrible pain in his stomach.

My cast of vampires don't really follow the Vampire: The Masquerade rules (or any other canonized guidelines), so they don't throw up their innards after being embraced. Most of my vampires are not capable of eating or drinking anything but blood (although some might mix blood with alcohol) because their craving for blood overrides their need for normal food and drink. Their stomach and intestines gradually decay from lack of use even though technically they could eat something. In order to keep their gut working they'd have to keep on consuming food despite of possibly feeling sick.

Most of my human vampires don't even try to pretend that their system works like it did before they turned into vampires, but some of my snooty elven vampires uncomfortably hang on to their old eating habits because in their high society it is a lot harder to play the social games without touching one's dinner and so on.

Aw, I could never come up with comics on a weekly basis... And I don't suppose this is the right kind of material for publishing. The quality is a bit so-so and the content is off-mainstream. But I will be drawing more of these, that's for sure. ^_^;;

Malek is not the kind of traditional vampire who lives in a castle and sleeps in a coffin... He can endure sunlight pretty well and act almost like a real human. But he's still bad to the bone. =)

I didn't knew he were a Vampire! so far i thought all vampires were like the "toreador" clan XD but MAN some break the mold >_<

I've also come up with this clan of elven feylamia vampires. I suppose they resemble the "toreador" side of vampirism with their perfume, snooty manners and fancy clothes... My human vampires are more gritty and greasy. Just the way I like them. :3
