It really depends on what route you want to take, yeah. #1 looks most like "I'm a guy cursed (blessed? :p) with lycanthropy and I've undergone my transformation and of course I ripped up my clothes, AGAIN."
So #1 looks most like the most 'traditional' sense of werewolf story/appearance that most people would associate with.
All the others look like either an anthropomorphic wolf warrior or some warrior that has become a wolf dude, and would have more story to him; however, this is a costume for one night that will just be seen mostly by people who honestly wouldn't give two figs about backstory or the like, and costumes go on a first-impression basis.
Simplicity is best, especially when werewolves have their own lore in things and you just wanna do the werewolf thing and look cool with it. So in the end I'd do #1. Uncomplicated, easy to see the whole "I changed and ripped my clothes doing it", and would be best for most involved. The only bit of 'story' thrown in is the bloody bandage, which would imply he was hunted down or had a scuffle with the medieval townsfolk, which isn't exactly a complicated thought process, all things considered, which is good.

We're gonna be using it three nights in a row, and I'm actually going as a male Red Riding Hood, but done up as a monster hunter with a crossbow and everything. Lobosan is the one going as the wolf. So there will be a little visible story to it, and we might even mock battle a little to entertain passerbys. Plus the parties we're going to are in LA, so people will eat it up lol.
OK, three nights. Overall, still a short time-frame, and with possibly different people around, so trying to explain "story" time and again might be a bit much; though, depends on how much you really want to OCD-detail it for such a short timeframe.
If there's an accompanying costumer that will have a matching theme that can piece together a story just by the two being nearby alone, and you might do a little playful skirmish, then that adds to it nicely. The thing is, in the story of Red Riding Hood, it's just an outright wolf/wolf-dude, not necessarily the traditional "werewolf" first implied with the Halloween theme and whatnot.
#1 would seem most like a wolf guy who you'd meet in the woods and he's like 'hey free food and I'm a jerk that way gonna GETCHA' XD
If you want the more.."wolf guy who is a kind of warrior wolf people the townsfolk has been having issues with and have skirmishes with"..4 or 5.

We'll be in LA, and I don't think
lobosan is afraid of walking around in a loincloth--he's got a mean swing heheh.
