Sam might have a point, though. A bit of exercise does help clear the mind and relieve stress as well as help keep one in shape. Plus, when it comes to many of those in intellectual pursuits, you just about have to drag them out of their chair for their exercise.

I would not call him a computer nerd. He seems more a technophile. You give him anything in high technology and I bet he would love it.

But you can tell that Victor loves his adopted dad.

What I'm wondering is why he left off writing the program to the last minute.

I'm guessing he probably went well above and beyond the assignment requirements.

Or, since he did say "begin" probably more... has taken too many AP classes, and helping Malcolm with his homework...

Assembly? He can think that out while he's playing basketball and type it out later. Once you know how to code, actually writing it is the last part - thinking it out is the difficult part.

Now, this might not be the most ideal of places to say this, but I want to congratulate you on your fantastic NH finale. And I want to thank you for doing the characters and story justice. It won't compare to your experience naturally, but it's felt like Newshounds has been there for so long that even if that was the last product we'll see out of the universe, it'll still stay with me for the rest of my life. Awesome stuff.

I particularly like how you handled Lorna in the final episodes, a character who I felt has progressed the most over the years. I remember thinking she was a killjoy and not all that much more, but I think you brought out all of her quirky habits and underscored her determination and wherewithal so successfully that I completely 'got her' when she rubbed against Renata. So, yeah, thanks again. :D
