Sure, static LEDs in the saucer, main hull and nacelles, and blinking lights based on a timer 555 and transistor circuit for the navigation lights :3

What about for the engines? Maybe blue LED, too bad there is no way you can get flames to shoot out without burning the plastic.

Star Trek ships don't have "flames". As I said the nacelles will be lighted aswell, the collectors in the front are painted red transparent, and the warp engines in a blue transparent. The transparent parts are "frosted" with very fine sandpaper to diffuse the light.

You get pretty detailed with this stuff, i one built the enterprise, but didnt turn out well, the only detailed and successful model i built was an AH-64

Nice. That should be fun, the one model i really want to build which i heard is supposed to be really hard is gundam wing Gundam Deathsycthe, i cant find the original large scale anywhere.

I'm not that much into Gundam Wing, the models are extremely rare in Poland. if you like mechs, but don't want huge models I encourage you to try the game Battletech. The models of this boardgame represent the battlemechs from the PC-game Mechwarrior.
