So here's the deal with this,
Axel already has a fursona of sorts. (Sabertooth Tiger aww yisss) BUT I had always kept in mind that I wanted her to be a shapeshifter with her fur-form. (Or in other words I just wanted to draw her in different animal forms purely so that I could make new galactic designs ohhoho)
WELL I feel like that's kind of wishy-washy and I'd like a more standarized set for her transformations. I COULD have chosen a few of my favorite animals but that felt too personalized-
and then I got the idea for a triad.
And what better to go off of than the zodiac?
Of course, I could have made three sets of four instead of four triads- but I like the idea of narrowing it down to three forms instead of four.
SO HERE'S WHERE YOUS GUISE COME IN.
I'm already leaning heavily towards one set that I won't specify, BUT I'm interested in getting my watchers/andanyoneelse's opinion on which set would be the neatest!
So, if you're interested in bein' a part of this kinda thing- you are more than welcome to comment with your favorite triad's number!
Thanks fer' reading and being awesome iluall!
EDIT:
(By the way holy smokes! I was worried that no one was going to comment and I was going to feel super lame talkin' to myself about art opinions but you guys really made my day/night with your input and comments thank you so much aaaaah ;v;
Because of all you guys much appreciated words n' such I'm thinking of drawing Axel up in each of these animal sets. I know it's not really something I can say is 'for you' because that would sound super pretentious and dumb- but for anyone who wanted to see her in a form I don't end up picking I'd like to at least have it drawn up once as a thank you for your comment)
Running Scores
One (Ox, Rooster, Monkey): 15
Two (Dog, Dragon, Tiger): 47
Three (Goat, Snake, Pig): 15
Four (Horse, Rat, Rabbit): 22

I agree with
wahaneta- while once upon a time, the animals in #2 would've been cool, but then every furry tryhard ever adopted them as fursonas.
#3 would be a cool mix but I don't think they mesh well with each other, nor do I think they fit her personality.
I could honestly see either #1 or #4 working, but my personal vote would be for #1.

My older sister calls her self a polymorph??? I'm hoping it's the right word she used but,she makes her own species and she uses then from her other form. You can tell because each new species she makes have similar qualities of her first fursona not to MEntion they kind of look like her once you think about it.
But 2 I really like those choices.

I like set 2- except I would trade the dog for the rat or rabbit.
REASON: Dragon= Large, Tiger=Medium/Large, Dog=Medium/Small
When working a triad it's good to have size come into effect as well. I have no idea how you use your character, but it is just a good idea. So if you stick with dog make it a small dog- or switch it to something smaller. Never know when you need to get into those tight places!

- 1 is cool because roosters and monkeys are things you don't see too often around here, somewhat understandable because monkeys are "too close" to humans for some people to like in this setting, and birds and general can be hard to draw.
- 2 is good because it's very well-rounded, however these are species that are already pretty common, so I can see it being a little underwhelming in concept, though I'm sure in your style it'd be great.
- 3 is awesome because all those animals are painfully under-represented around here and it's always a lovely treat to see them.
- And 4 is kinda in the same field as 2, in that it's well-rounded but common.
My personal choice would be 3.
