I think the phone should work - and I'm wondering if it would make sense for the music to, at any given time, match what he's TFed into. (e.g. if, and I don't know if this is possible, he gets TFed into a dog, then it would be "Who let the dogs out" or something. Either the music is the TF trigger or it's just playing along...)

Accidentally the gryphon dials a random number that calls at a sorcerer's phone. The gryphom quickly turns the phone off in panick. But the sorcerer isnt happy, and as he re-dial, the human answers, and gets a spell casted on him. Id what he'd tf into, tho, but it solves the trigger here
I think the phone is just a distraction.. she says music and everything? ... "EVERYTHING"... it could be "I want a big brother.." and magic happens.. or a sibling... ^.^
And I could say a half-otter griffin of some sort.. ;P
But could be another chimeric creature... say.. half otter, half skunk ? . . . (or a 3 part griffin? )
