Speedpaints (3h): Emmacreatures!
Another piece, finally up to post! This is one I actually finished yesterday and had to delay posting 'til commissioner approval, but now it's been seen and gleefully received, so here we are! 
emmacreatures brought this idea up to me with some basic sketch ideas, and my god, what cuties. They're called "snoozles" apparently, and are basically like big docile caterpillar kittens with mouths that stay hidden in their fluff until they're grumpy. Look at that smile!
Hilariously, my first pass on that alternate expression had their faces full of high octane nightmare fuel hook mandibles. This one's definitely a little more cuddly on the whole. I'd love to have a couple for chill pets. I bet they'd get along great with my cat.

You know what? Pop off the head, change the accessories (feet, antenna, color), and you pretty much have a Protopet from the ancient ps2 game Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando.

I have to admit, the cuteness outweighs the horror in my case, but this is such a great picture that I'm loving it either way.
The *detail* on that fluffy fur... My goodness, I can practically touch it. I know what it would feel like if I could! That's masterful work!
