Also known as the American PAINTED Lady Butterfly are usually an indicator of autumn where I live. this one is rather early though. I found it hanging out by the exterior night light of my house. So you know me, I just had to get some pictures of it. Luckily, I have always had a steady hand with insects and they don't seem to mind me picking them up and giving them their close-up's. I swear though, some of the images I get, you'd think they were posing just for me. <=.O>
