So the obvious thought here is "My Little Pony", I know and I'm not gonna deny that I did get inspired by some pictures I've seen recently of pony characters but those ponies had feet, not hooves and I loved it. So I wanted to give it a try for myself. I really don't know much about the TV series, I've seen like three episodes back when it launched and that's about it (It was alright, the characters are adorable but it didn't really manage to hold my attention). I still wanted to try drawing a cute horse girl with feet in my toon-ish style though, after seeing those pictures from other artists. I then just went ahead and did it and ended up with Samantha here. I really love how she turned out, even more so in the next picture I'll submit but I was hesitant to upload it, because of possible similarities to My Little Pony, which can be a touchy subject to some people.
Both pictures of her were actually the first thing I've finished after my surgery weeks ago, after I was able to sit for a longer period of time in front of my PC again. I was trying back then and still somewhat am to create a story of her finding a certain little imp. She helped me to distract myself a bit from the pain back then, additionally to painkillers of course. To me, she's just a unicorn, not tied to the My Little Pony universe or equipped with any magical powers or whatever they have. Just someone that I'd love to spent my time with, with a horn on their forehead.
