What IS a Faugriff?
"Faugriffs" are an original species of mine that have dragon,canine and deer-like characteristics.
Can I make my own?
Yep! Both Faugriffs and Faugries are an "open" species, meaning you're free to make your own and use it as a personal character!
Do they have a particular color/design scheme that I need to follow?
Nope! They can be any color! There are no color limits, BUT keep in mind that Faugriffs with natural colors are more rare than those with un-natural colors. (The insides of the mouth like the gums and tongue can be of any color as well!)
Can I add hair/clothes/accessories to my Faugriff/Faugrie?
Yes! you are allowed to let its "fluff" grow out so it appears like hair.
You may also dress up/add accessories to your character.
Can I add extra features/body parts to my Faugriff/Faugrie?
No, since the species is meant to be fairly simple in design. This also means that you cannot change anything about any of the Faugriff's/Faugrie's features (Antlers are an exception, read the next question for more info).
For example, you may choose one of the ear types that are shown, but you may not create a completely different ear type (a type that Isn't shown) for your character.
Things you may NOT add to your Faugriff/Faugrie include:
- Extra Limbs/Antlers/Etc.
- Wings/Fins/Etc.
Can the antlers be any shape? Or am I strictly supposed to use the types from the ref?
Yes! You may twist and turn them however you like! The antlers shown on the ref are merely examples of what you could use.
Keep in mind however that a Female Faugriff's/Faugrie's antlers must always be shorter/smaller than a male's.
How big are Faugriffs compared to humans?

What are Faugries?
"Faugries" are basically "miniature Faugriffs" and are around the size of a Shiba Inu (Dog).
How can I tell Faugries and Faugriff pups apart?
Unlike Faugries, Faugriff pups do not begin to develop their antlers until they reach their adolescent or "teenage" years. Also, Faugries have large tails, while a Faugriff pup's tail will grow over time.
What is the average lifespan of a Faugriff/Faugrie?
Faugriff - 80 to 100+ years
Faugrie - 30 to 50+ years
What do Faugriffs/Faugries eat?
Both Faugriffs and Faugries are omnivores.
Am I allowed to make/commission a fursuit of my Faugriff/Faugrie?
Absolutely! That permission is granted for any open species of mine. However, If you're thinking of making/commissioning a suit from a closed species of mine, You MUST already have a character from that closed species that you've either adopted, purchased, or won in an event from me.

Wow! I've always wanted to make a 'smart' idea when it comes to making species... and am still doing it... XD
But... The world is big, so whatever I make... people will complain and say that I just stole it, or REALLY does look like another persons species...
HOWEVER... YOU DID MAKE SUCH NICE IDEA!! and best of all... IT'S OPEN! :O

If I made a species... I'd never get to determine how exatcly they live, eat, etc... and nobody would have one anyway... XD
I made one called Skull Crocs.. but... believe me... nobody would adopt something weird like that... '.'
