Maybe our generation will bring it back when we're in power.

One can hope. I feel like a piece of my puppyhood died.

Our generation can bring this stuff back for a new generation and for our desire to have the good ol' days back.

Not just the cartoons, there were some awesome live action shows in the 90's too. My personal favorite was Strange Days at Blake Holsey High.

Yep, thanks to things like cable TV and cheaper and easier to produce junk i.e. reality TV and the FCC putting together the mandatory E/I TV requirements.

And squeaky voiced, pastel colored horrors that serve as an excuse for a cast of characters. *shudders*

Actual it can be seen in rating and data when the E/I law was mandatory rating slowly start to fall. Cartoon network and many other channels are not safe E/I law that have least show 3 to 4 hours worth of educational show with in so many day or they pop with rather expensive million dollar fine this why number of anime channels are over the border in Canada they have least 3full time anime channels last i checked. Also cartoon networks if i remember right having legal issue tho that just rumors i heard, G4 for example had to quite being a satellite channel for simple reason it was to expensive for the there studio to pay the bills to most people don't realize those channel networks have pay satellite company to show there channels.


If i remember right the E/I law kicked in in the middle to late 90's and lot good show suddenly disappeared from the local tv networks. Chance are if new FCC director took away the E/I law more shows would appear

Maybe, also the decline started in 1992 when NBC pulled cartoons. So maybe and sadly the E/I Law only quickened the death of Saturday morning cartoons.

True on that but if the golden times would have lasted longer
