YAY GEEKERY. This was doodled as we played our Star Wars RPG. We converted it over to Savage Worlds the same game engine as the old furry fantasy setting we had.
I made a former TIE pilot who was conscripted into the Empire. Not ever beliebing their doctrines but a damn good fighter pilot, Tarn turned tail and surrendered to the Rebellion after the Deathstar was blown to bits by a handful of crazy pilots.
Our game is set after Ep. 4 and before 5. And yah I know not the most original design, name or concept but hey, Lucas din either! hehe ^_^

the last Star wars tabletop game i did, we ended up pissing off the narrator, cause both me and the other player went sith, so he got me discommunicated, and sent to prison after the jedi council took away my ability to use the force >__>
the other guy sold me out, and got a promotion... then his ship exploded -_-

I dunno, the name is just fine imo. I mean c'mon, Lucas named the fat guy Porkins. =P
As for the background story, it's not terribly original no, but I think it's safe to say that a good 90% of the combat pilots the Rebellion got were former Imperials.
It's like making a Civil War RPG and making a Confederate soldier who was "Born in the United States and defected." =)

I very much like it! :> The look is great, though the 'braided' yellow line of bumps down the side of his pantsleg looks a bit too stand-apart from the fabric, as though you added it on afterwards, but couldn't merge it too well. And his hand is resting a weeeee bit too much on his crotch. ;> If this is an older pic, I'll understand, but still, great choice! ^_^
Heheh did this last night hehe. It's a quick doodle I din take much time to edit, just scanned and tossed in some colors, if I took longer on it mighta noticed the hand thing heheh. I like the ribbed pants thing, kinda taken from the old GI Joe Copperhead character, always dug those ribbed pants baby heheh ^_^
SWRPG?! Sweet. Maybe it was your character's TIE fighter that my friend's character dropped on himself when he flubbed his Force Push roll. XD
It does look like something straight out of one of "The Art of..." books. Gotta love the Solo-style seams on his pants, too.

Yea for tabletop RPing!
... and yea for non-hyper humans! ;)
I had an Imperial soldier myself (I've played both d6 and d20 Star Wars.) He honestly thought that the Empire was a good force... that if the galaxy would just follow one rule of law, that everything would be alright. But those damn rebels just kept causing problems! He was a mechanic with a kind, soft heart... but among a group of soldiers who were more devious. Everyone else started going Dark Side and he got frustrated and eventually sabotaged their craft and left. He still believed that the Empire was the right way, but they didn't do anything to control their men. He never realized he was a pawn for the bad guys.
