Ignitus decided to teach Spyro about the earlier days of dragons before they gained knowledge and magic, back to their feral days of greedily hoarding treasure and devouring whatever they pleased. This lesson, of course included a chance to indulge in such primal activities that for both proved invigorating so much so they both got quite carried away. It was only until Ignitus could no longer touch the ground with his feet that he came to his senses and went in search of Spyro to figure out how to fix his current predicament. He soon came upon a huge gold horde and assumed it was Spyro's doing. Even more curious was the strange soft and scaley ground. He explored it further until he discovered the end of Spyro's tail and realized quite shockingly that while he had fattened up from his recent binging, Spyro had done so many times greater making Ignitus a mere fraction of the size of his student. As he looks on speechless, Spyro reached a clawed hand to Ignitus, his hunger not yet sated and his dragon instincts firmly in command.
