alternate title is, "i don't know how to use photoshop".
dead simple tutorial on basic sandbag making.
step 1. roll out some green stuff (or whatever modelling putty you are using). 50/50 mix of blue to green.
step 2. make a rectangular'ish shape. it can be as big as you want, but i made mine 10mm wide, 3mm high and 15mm long. then i used clippers to cut where i put the two blue lines to get 2 flat edges.
step 3. position your "sandbag". im using these to bulk up some existing sandbag terrain.
step 4. use a sculpting tool or knife (i recommend knife) to score a line through the middle of the sandbag like in the picture. go all the way around. best way to do this is by pushing the blade into the green stuff and not dragging it.
step 5. using a sculpting tool, press down along the top half of the sandbag. you want to get a trapezoid type shape around the top half. also, score a T shaped cut with a knife like indicated with the red lines.
step 6. open up a small triangular shaped hole. Note* putting bits on top of the sandbag takes some attention away from how crappy it might look :p
step 7. like in step 5, use a scuplting tool to press around the edge of the traingular hole.
and voila, easy (ish), greenstuff sandbags.took me 2 or 3 trie to get this one right though, so take your time with it. for a more textured look, try rolling some cloth over the sandbag before it dries.
