Poor Nicky the cute face hides a deep sadness

this made me think up of something silly. All Dark Souls ads with Nicky on it instead of the game. Makes me giggle. Prepare to die.

The obvious adorable whimsy aside, I do wonder whether or not Nicky will fully 'inherit' his own identity. Nicky is the most dominant persona, but Secretin is undoubtedly the most powerful of the two. Is Secretin's dormancy causing him to slowly weaken and wither to nothing while Nicky's persona grows, integrates and bonds? Or is Secretin's dormancy a rest that is preparing him to attempt to reclaim and re-integrate "Nicky" and resume his place as the dark tail?

Cute as everyone's favourite meowry can be, he's gonna be key to how that all pans out, and Miv is the perfect foil, even if not quite powerful enough to hard-block such machinations.
