This is a photo I took of two of my first Shelties (Shetland Sheepdogs) I ever owned - Ginger and Pepper. This is from 2004, and sadly, both of these beautiful dogs have since passed. Words can't express how special these dogs were, and always will be, to me. Shelties were the first dogs I was around as a child, and taught me what true love really was. They also taught me that I was a crazy furry, whether they realized it or not ;p It was being around these amazing animals that I found my true soul. My connection to them was unique, ask my family, there was always a special bond between our shelties and me.

We had Smokey (our blue merle) at this time as well, but getting a picture of the 3 of them at one time was a rare thing, lol. Pepper (on the left) was the brother of my first sheltie Travis, and Ginger (on the right) was our first, and only, female dog we ever owned.

These two are who inspired SilverWing's design, through and through.

I love my puppehs and miss them everyday. But I'm proud I can carry a part of them around with me through SW. <3
