Cérès is a planet half smaller than our old Earth on which is a lot of water, and thus, life was able to develop on there. It spins around a yellow dwarf whom they call « sun » too. (Sometimes they call it « Farès’ beneficent or generous fire » too) . Its axis and rotation are almost the same than the ones for Earth when spinning around the Sun, that’s why climates on it are similar to those on Earth. The problem is, there is only one continent which jut out in the North Hemisphere of the giant ocean. So, there are only two climates on Cérès' continent : a temperate type, and, at the extreme north of the continent, a subarctic type.
So, the life was thus able, during the past millenniums, to develop on Cérès, but in a rather particular way. If the Humans became an evolved specie, they are far from being the only ones and far more from being rulers of this world. Seventeen other very different species evolved differently from the fauna of Cérès. These dominant species (because evolved ones) have thus split around the continent and are living on it more or less well. But there is a specie which multiplied and proliferated more than any other one : the Lycan specie which represents 30 % of the evolved population in this world nowadays (it represents approximately 500.000 Lycans for a number of something about 1.700.000 individuals from all species through the continent, including Lycans. Elementaries aren’t included on here neither). Other evolved species all together represent 70% of the total of all evolved populations of Cérès and the Humans represent only a small 1 % of these 70%.
The fauna and the flora of Cérès are pretty similar to those which we can find in our temperate climate here on Earth thousand and thousand years ago at a time when we didn’t cultivate the grounds and didn’t deforest anything. But there are some exceptions on the fauna and flora of Cérès, some more endemic creatures or vegetals which you will learn very fast to know better. You will find big forests of pines, beeches and other conifers and Fagaceaes but also green or golden prairies, big and small valleys, rivers and streams are rather numerous and run accross all the continent from the North to the South. And the extreme North is made of big lands covered with snow for months and months and hard winters. Mountains, real very bigs ones aren’t numerous on all the continent and there is no real big mountain range.
Cérès is thus also the name of the only known continent of this world, a giant solitary boat lost in the middle of a big ocean named Ama Dinis. The continent’s size is (to help you to get an idea of its size) a bit more than twice the size of Australia.
And the evolveld populations on it have very different lifestyle from one to another, but all rather simple and close to nature. No real technology or modernism anywhere on it, every species are extremely respectful of the nature and what it brings to them but also because they are mostly very sensitive to mystic or supernatural notions. Maybe Humans are a bit less and they show a much more creative side when it comes to elaborate new « technologies » to get an easier life than the other species. Some of their creations are considered as disturbing ones.
There are two main worships(cults) on Cérès. One dedicated to the worship of the Mother-Earth : Cérès. And the other one dedicated to the worship of the Father-Sky : Farès. Every specie worships them and pays them tribute in its own way through rites, offerings and celebrations.
These are the most important things to know about Cérès’ Geography.
And if you want to know how much it can take to go from a country to another here are precious informations (considering you’d be only walking at an average speed) :
* Dyani : you’ll need 4 months to go through it.
* Tadi : you’ll need a bit more than 4 months to go through it.
* Kiona : you’ll need 3 months to go through it
* Dezba : you’ll need 3 months to go through it.
* Aquene : you’ll need a bit more than 3 months to go through it.
* Nita : you’ll need about 6 months to go through it.
* Ozalee : you’ll need about 6 months to go through it.
* Dena : you’ll need about 5 months to go through it..
* Abequa : you’ll need 2 months to go through it.
* Beralku : you’ll need almost 2 weeks to go through it.
* Kwanita : you’ll need 1 month to go through it.

Thanks, even if we'll probably need someone to re-do it and get a more "original and personal" one. There are mounts, but only Humans use some, other species can transform, so they don't really need to ride an animal to move fast. Even if they can use them to carry things for them (merchants use them a lot on this purpose, mostly aurochs, yaks or mountain goats. Some would love to domesticate the biggest herbivorous specie existing on the far North of Cérès and similar to a mammoth. But for now, nobody was able to do it. ;) ).
