Yes because, in Cérès, all of the young evolved species can transform. But how does it work ?
I’ll try to explain it to you in a way as clear and detailed as possible here :


At first, the babies born as anthros bipedal creatures (mothers, during their pregnancy, cannot transform and can only keep their anthro form). Afterward, it is necessary for them to wait to reach what we commonly call « the age of reason » (Humans reach it at the age of seven, if you want to know the age equivalent for any other specie, just ask !) to become aware completely of their body and its capacities. At this age, they thus begin to learn how to transform into their primitive shape (their animal shape/form thus). It is an early and easy learning for them, this transformation quickly becomes fast and natural for them.
It takes a little less than one minute for a teenager to transform into the primitive shape and something like thirty seconds for and adult to do it. But the newly transformed is now unable to understandably speak under this shape, for anatomical reasons due to the morphology of the jaws of our animal friends.

Some species can master a second transformation, this transformation is called the « bestial shape/form » and it needs much more time and efforts to control and master it.

Species able to master and control this shape are :
- Horang’is.
- Lycans.
It’s extremely rare that a young teenager becomes able to control and master it. Mostly only adults can do it. And they need approximately from five to ten minutes, according to the level of mastering, to transform into a bestial form. Great masters of this shape need about three-four minutes to transform.
This shape is way more difficult to bear and to control. It’s more like a big constant flow of adrenalin running through their veins and during which they have to endure a permanent tension. The transformation doesn’t cause any pain, but to keep it is nervously difficult and energy consumming. And, whatever the specie is, they can’t keep this shape/form more than two hours long. After what, they’ll need 48 hours to be able to transform again. And they’ll be completely exhausted for one entire day.

The transformations are something complex and nobody should explain why the young evolved species only can transform on Cérès. At least, for the moment !
Some even don’t like anymore to transform into their primitive/animal shape, some others really hate their bestial shape and transform only if they really have no other choice. This depends completely according to the person’s psychology. Some people can perfectly live without transforming any single time during their entire life. Even if it is VERY rare.

Only one specie is totally unable to transform : the Human specie. The reason of this remains unknown.

Hybrids can’t transform either. But it is known that, being the product of improbable and non-natural crossings, Hybrids cannot transform and only possess a two-legged/anthro shape. Or maybe, there is another reason ?

The transformations are accompanied with nothing particular seemingly, it is just about complete body changings. And there is no possible « intermediate » shape. A transformation can’t be stopped and has to end. That’s why someone killed when transforming will keep on changing after the death until the transformation ends.
