I dunno what's better. sunrises on the east coast, or sunsets on the west.

I've seen the winter sun rise from the sea on the East Coast of Scotland a few times and it's quite cool. I've also seen the winter sun set a couple of times. But I'd love to see the rise and setting of the summer sun someday. I don't know what'd be better ^^

Hey, this is really cool KeenyFox! I am impressed with the sunset (sunrise?) backdrop, it looks very nice. In fact, I think you did a really good job on the whole background, it's not often one gets to see a background that complex. (As a minor side note, does one of the buildings in the back say "Starlight" with a star for the A? If so, that's a neat touch as well). And did you use some kind of filter or effect on the on the beach and such? It looks kind of static-ky at some points but overall I do think it looks pretty cool.

The hotel indeed does say 'Starlight' on it, it was something I made up as I went. The static effect on the beach was me adding extra grainy sort of effect to the sand ^^ Thanks for asking!
