So, was pretty much bored and unable to come up with anything 'new and fancy' so decided to revisit a concept i had been wanting to try, or more accurately try and make one of that actually looked decent. That being a scabbard for the heat machete, this particular scabbard design is for use on attaching to the leg via straps and a strap that connects to the belt.
The blade is secured and can't be pulled out upwards without the wearer becoming aware of it nor can it be pulled out and away from the scabbard due to a pair of locking clamps that holds the blade snuggly within the scabbard. Have yet to really consider a machanism that cooperates with the locking mechanism to allow the wearer to be able to pop the locking mechanism and pull the blade.
Had to tweak the design of the curve of the blade because it was more or less 'destroyed' somehow, dunno how it all got warped but due to it I was forced to clip off the end of the blade and make an entirely new tip for it.
I am really proud of this scabbard design, normally i reallllllly suck at making scabbards and sheaths but actually managed to succeed here.
