This time of Gil is in a bit of a hybrid form, the quadraped demon as his lower half but a relatively normal human as the upper torso. He seems to have found a job tending bar.
Here, have a drink on the house. It's got my special "bite." You'll be dying for more!

Ah, so here's the kicker (and my little mini-rant :) ). Most venoms (things one injects into the blood to harm someone, like from a snake's fangs or scorpion's tail) are generally NOT particularly effective as poisons (things one injests to be harmed). Thus, for a "normal" creature, you'd probably be able to drink their venom without any harm whatsoever, or at most a mild stomach-ache. (Venoms aren't generally evolved to survive in the highly acidic environment of stomachs, so their proteins usually just break down quickly into harmless byproducts.)
Gil's a demon, though, so those rules don't apply. For Odon's venom, I've already made canon that small, non-lethal amounts of it end up being highly addictive. I'm presuming the same is true for Gil when he's in a shape which has the scorpion tail and furthermore that injesting the venom removes the downright toxic effects but leaves in place the addictive quality.
Thus, he's simply getting a bunch of people severely to something only he can provide and it's an addiction which will almost certainly eventually lead to their death (drinking large quantities of demon venom to sate your addiction cannot possibly be healthy). Gil's certainly got a bit of "trickster" in him, and I think that sort of act is entirely in fitting with his character. Thus, accept one of these drinks, and become his slave for the rest of your life.
The presumption here is that the customers can't see what he really is, but once they are addicted, he'll happily show them his true form, since they can't really harm him without risking themselves.

Hahaha, no wonder "you'd be dying for more"! XD And don't worry, I loved the mini rant. I absolutely adore your characters, especially odon and gil, so knowing more about them is really sweet. So... does the venom have any transformative properties too (or any demon venom in particular)?
Thanks! I think the best thing I ever did was encourage artists to take huge amounts of artistic liberty with Gilrandree. That has lead to a huge variety of forms for him (and, as a high power demon, it's only reasonable he'd be a bit of a shapeshifter :) ), so many of which are just really neat appearances.
Thus, I really need to thank every single artist who's drawn him over the years for his somewhat crowd-sourced character design. It's amazing that they are all so different but, in some way, identifiable as the same character.

He also did this one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/14732567/
That one has a deviantart link on it, which seems to still work, but hasn't been updated in a while. It's kind of sad, though; there are more than one artist who I got stuff from who vanished from the scene since that time.
