this tv struck me as being odd because it has a removable (what seems to be safety glass) on the front. The set was MFGd in august of 1988 and gets used here pretty much daily for hours at a time. it is a color set 12" CRT screen. There is a controll panel behind the door next to the speaker cover. the on/off volume controll is a potentiometer/switch and has no remote controll IR sensor or any other type of remote control device port. the channels are controlled by push buttons on the front of the set and it desplays the number of channel in red digital numbers. for what ever reason it only goes up to channel 36 on the Cable setting and obveously 13 on the regular setting that is if im remembering its only VHF. although I had a similer issue with a nother Set that had a dirty selector switch and after that was taken apart and cleaned went to cable channel 99. so im not sure yet about this one. right now its tuned by a VCR and thats tuned by a cable box (which I hate) a nother odd ball thing is the coax port on the TV sticks right out the top on the back. Instead of the back bottom. it was a cheep pick from a local place and I liked it so now here it is.

I too have an RCA colortrak set with 2 stereo/video RCA in and 1 stereo out as well as the ussual coax. thats what I use as my main set in my room and have been for a while. I cant remember the model of mine but i beleve its from the mid 1980s like i think 85 or so but I dont remember. all I remember right now Is I dug it out of a dumpster several years ago and started using it. the only thing thats really messed up with it is there is a slight phosphor burn of the weather channel emblum on the top left of the screen but you can only see it when the screen is all white and there are some odd vertical bars that are some what there. its not from being magnetized because I did do a manual degausing of the set to see what would happen and they stayed there. So Im guessing its some other CRT malfunction but its not causing issues and I kind of just ignore them so its fine
thats what it seems like most people do so I grab the ones that I can and that space here can allow and keep them for my own use or reapair them. right now as far as I can remember I have some where around 28 CRT television sets and I beleve 4 out of those 28 need repairs. most of my sets are from the 80s eara but I have several older ones. 1 from 1949 (working) another one some where around the same year ( not working) a nother from around the mod 50s with the space commend 400 remote controll (partallly working but needs fixing) and some Macey's brand TV thats missing the remote from 1978/79 or something (working) all the others from then on are around the 80s and maybe 90s
