More concept designs for Kostja, the protagonist from my comic project "A Fool's Journey".
I think it was the Mass Effect 2 art book, where the quote that most drives me in character creation comes from:
"To make sure you have a good idea, best have a LOT of ideas." - not sure WHO said this.
To bring them all down on paper or visualize them digitally helps to compare them and finally make the best decision, that's something very vital for character designing.
You might notice that my style has slightly changed... I enjoy ball point pens greatly to doodle. Way more than pencil, actually. It just suits me.You cannot erase your mistakes but sometimes, a line that appears faulty at first turns out to be exactly what you needed.
