Well... I have to say I never expected to turn into a copy of SCP-682, but can't say it's not fun!

And as this is SCP related, lets have some fun with it (and if anyone from the Foundation reads this, hope you find it amusing)

Incident Report
Background: Dr. Theo Winters was a guest researcher working with The Foundation from [REDACTED] via SCP-####. He was a specialist in a multiple types of transfiguration and was working with The Foundation on examining a number of specimens with those properties including SCP-531, SCP-647, SCP-682, SCP-731, SCP-983 and SCP-####.
Description: Dr. Winters had been working with the Foundation for the last three weeks and had recently been relocated to Site-## to research some of the stored specimens. Included in the list were a number of tissues samples from SCP-682. Winters was rather interested in studying them due to the specimens rapid adaptation ability. During the investigation of the samples the doctor accidentally cut himself on a bone spar, apparently contaminating himself with the specimen.
During lunch break, Dr. Winters starting to commented on the growing feeling pressure along his back. He seemed to be familiar with this and brushed it off as unimportant. Approximately thirty seconds later he started undergoing a rapid transfiguration to his body, growing in mass and ripping through his clothing. Agents on site were quick to identify that that Dr. Winters was turning into a copy of SCP-682 and started containment breach procedures.
After the change the subject (here by reclassified as SCP-682-W) remained docile in the cafeteria, apparently more interested in investigating himself then escaping. At this stage there were a number of notable difference between SCP-682 and SCP-682-W:
* There was additional hair around the neck (creating a mane) and at the tip of the tail.
* The addition of a prominent pair of mobile ears at the top of the head
* The specimen was still wearing Dr. Winters' glasses, which had themselves adapted to the new facial structure.
All of these differences seem to be in line with Dr. Winters' original physiology.
Containment of SCP-682-W resulting in zero (0) casualties as the specimen cooperated fully with the Task Force. Full containment could not be achieved as the preexisting containment was already in use by SCP-682 and it was decided that the two specimens should not be brought into contact with each other. Instead the specimen was placed in a high containment chamber with a team of fourteen (14) guarding it at all times.
After appearing to take a nap, SCP-682-W approached the main entrance to the chamber and knocked against it with his tail before requesting to speak with someone. Dr. ###### eventually responded to the request. The specimen then explained that he was still Dr. Winters, and he had undergone a number of transmutations in the past. Because of that he felt the changes would pass in a number of weeks. In addition he suggested taking the opportunity for a closer investigation of SCP-682-W's physiology, leading to a better understand of SCP-682.
Dr. ###### was leery at first, but after a tests confirmed that SCP-682-W's story it was decided to perform a number of experiments on him. This included full X-Rays, CRT, MRI and ##### scans. This revealed a number of interesting things, the most prominent being that SCP-682-W's eyes seemed much closer to human then what SCP-682 normally possessed. Dr. ###### theorized that this changed kept SCP-682-W from seeing the world with the same disgust as SCP-682 did, allowing him to keep sane.
Additional discovers included: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Twenty days after transfiguration incident, the specimen explosively reverted back to his previous form. Physical examination proved that Dr. Winters was completely healthy and showed no signs of any lingering changes (though he did express a desire to 'give it another go' with more room to 'cut loose'). As this was after the end of Dr. Winters term as a guest of the Foundation he was returned to [REDACTED].
Post Incident Recommendations: In the future all tissue samples from SCP-682 should be handled only in a Biosafety Level 4 Lab. In addition all guest researched should be screened for a history of anomalous events or position of objects that would be classified as SCPs.
Further experiments with SCP-682-W are under consideration.
Notes: I find it highly amusing that the fact that Dr. Winters is a 6 foot tall humanoid lion from another dimension does not merit a single comment in this report. --Dr. ####
