That's some lovely art for a lovely story. Saw this before going to work and read the story's summary, and I was so eager to get home and read it. I'm so glad you provided a link to it! It was a very nice read; nice enough to spend some time commenting on it! ...I should do that more often. And reading fanfiction in general. I really don't do enough of that.

Awesome! I am glad you read it and enjoyed the story! I really enjoy it since I know the CMC so well and seeing them put into a situation like this one is extremely entertaining.
And yes you should read more! there are some really good fics out there. I know I can't stop reading some of them.

They're my favorite ponies ever, so I enjoyed it even more for that! I adore well written and interesting CMC stories. And oh gosh, I know there are many good stories to read, I just gotta put in the time to try and find them. :<

Mmm, I knooow! What's even worse is the ones that actually start out really good, but then progressively get worse as they go on. I read one of those a month ago and absolutely loved the first chapter, but everything was down hill after that. That story lead to some real disappointment, especially since I finished it just to see if it ever returned to being good again. It didn't.
It's such a joy when you do find the really good ones, though. Kind of makes it worth it.

Not really sure what you mean. The original show is still going and it's still the same. It has a little more action now, but other then that its all the same stuff. If your talking about fan made stuff then yeah there is a shit ton of stuff like this fic that takes these characters and throws them into crazy situations that the show would never do. This is actually the first thing I have read where it takes there would to an extreme like this. But I know there are a bunch of other things out there like this.
I think things like are a lot of fun though. It's kind of heart wrenching to see these innocent fun loving characters thrown into a straight up war.

And yes, I was talking about the fan based stuff. These cute ponies have turned in the eyes of the fans into the base form of everything that exists, from other cartoons to just about every other imaginable concept. Most of them are so far from the norm that I think it would be hard for someone unfamiliar with MLP to tell what the art was based on.

Maybe to some. I mean its a big fandom, there are going to be some weird fan made stuff out there for sure lol. Plus I see this kind of thing with lots of different things that have a big following. But I think that's half the fun in a way. I like seeing some different things from the fans with these characters, but that's just me.
