Got a lot of requests this summer show season for gryphons. And who am I to argue? With winter coming on I feel the need to paint cold stuff. The incidental birds in this painting are white wagtails. We in North America have been ripped off when it comes to wagtails. I've seem in Britain, China, Africa, and al over Europe They are completely charming birds and we have none of them! humph.
