Finally got fed up with trying to get any "proper" recording software to work and went back to Audacity on Windows. Recorded this tonight just to check latency and sound quality, posting it here just so everyone know's I'm still beavering away!

No post production applied save for silencing a couple of knocks against the mic at the beginning.
