
Well after 15 h (from nothing to this stage) the anthro dragon is somewhat finished. I would do more details but Sculptris works very slow with over 12.000.000 polygons. Enjoy! The character belongs to

Ah yeah that can definitely be of help :) I tend to brush it over detail spots while working just to avoid a high poly count while Im still working on it. I tend to have trouble making the shape of the wing just period. Like the membrane and such. Pulling it out into shape and whatnot.
You can always import your model in Blender do some tweaking there with textures and lightning :D it's helpful. You can also add vray for blender to get the photorealistic look of the model. I still haven't try it yet, but I will in the nearest future ^^ It's what I heard what people do :D
Havent tried that! I have tried importing some of the models I made in sculptris with textures into blender and rendering in cycles. Sometimes I'll rig a simple low poly bust for reference of something as well. Like for horns and how they look at angles and such. Its pretty useful, but I doubt it would work on something very high poly since like. Yeah not made for that XD
