Many moons ago I had the idea of maybe doing a few pictures and throwing them together in some sort of portfolio for future cons - this one being the theme of music. So whilst chilling in the pub with  felixandrews before I came up with this rough sketch for one of the pics I want to include, as I've always loved the idea of a character playing the steel drum :) It was difficult to find a mammal that's indigenous to Jamaica and other Caribbean islands - so in the end I used a wuff ^^

Obviously there's still much to do on this piece (the paw in the drum for one thing) - and the dreads are a bit like  emberkomodog's at the moment, but I'll work on making them look more realistic (as well as the rest of the postfolio) during my time off from work - though I doubt I'll have it ready for RBW, watch this space at ConFuzzled though ;P

Critique more than welcome on this one - as well as any suggestions of weird and wonderful instruments you may like to see included :)
