Paid a visit to Jay's Sporting Goods in Clare, Michigan this afternoon and wandered around the store for a half-hour. Saw this recently completed project over in the taxidermy studio while heading to the check-out line.

If it makes you feel any better, that wolf was a most challenging quarry for the hunter who managed to take him. Wolves are the second most smartest creatures on the planet. He looks much better like this than torn apart by his pack mates when too old and weak. Properly cared for, this wolf will be admired and appreciated for generations. Rest assured that another will take his place in the wild.
