She looks, at least to myself, as though she is waiting for someone, yet does not wish to appear to be doing so. If this was your aim, consider it a bulls eye.

I like the pose. It's not a cliche pin-up pose, but it is like during a short pause (to look) that she has in a sequence of "things she is doing with her arms and hands". That implies movement, before & after. The perspective point-of-view (from slant of her shoulders & her heels) could be from the height of an adult sitting... which for being an observer, kind of puts one into the location of the picture. If your background were to have a perspective view of a chair, or bench, or wall at the right height for sitting, then that would reinforce the feeling for being inside the picture with her.

Hmmm…that could work…I gotta do more backgrounds.

A background is an option. I feel that a background is implied anyway, from the perspective that you built-into her pose.
