When I decided to try out Artist Alley at FA:United, I felt I needed some sort of example of the tiers of work I could offer. Here are samples of "marker inks" (Tina on the left) and "brush inks" (Tanya on the right)
In this case there is a noticable difference in the quality of linework. Most convention artists ink work in the fashion on the left, using Microns or ballpoint pens. A few use brush pens. Rarely do you ever see convention artists using a brush to do their inkwork. Since it takes longer than a pen and yields smoother linework, as with the two pencil examples, I thought to offer brushwork at a $5 premium over the basic $20 marker-inked drawing. I figured I'd put these up in anticipation of attending FurFright, which isn't quite a done deal, but is very close to being so.
Tina's pose and outfit came from a shot of Pamela Andersen in Scary Movie III. Tanya, well, makes her ping pong/table tennis "Serious Business"
