Here we have the wild Svengoolie in its native habitat.
On Friday night I went to the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Downtown Chicago for An Evening with Rich Koz: Celebrating 35 years of Svengoolie.
Part of the festivities was the unveiling of the new permanent Svengoolie exhibit, and here we have a photo of Sven standing next to his old coffin.
(Yes he really is that short, like 3 Stooges short.)

And here's the real, scary part: Rich and I went to grammar and high school together! We even worked on the same high school radio station! His Mom and Dad were friends of mine, and we went to the same RC Church. I knew him well, and we met two years ago to talk over old times. Great guy!
