Pedal to the metal, shift it,
Speeding, cut the corner, drift it,
Pour on the gas, take the nitro and gun,
Because I am right behind at a dead run,
Dogs love chasing cars,
You can tell from the scars;
But ever see a hound catch one?
Ever see that cabin come undone,
Suspension torn apart by drooling jaws?
Doors ripped off the hinges by hungry claws?
These ain't no jaws of life,
And that breath, so thick and rife,
Is the exhaust of spent drivers,
All now accomplished gullet divers,
They swam in my saliva, they wrestled my tongue,
And my heartbeat was the last song they heard sung.
